004 Toy Factory Loft | Architecture & Interiors
Located in the old Toy Factory Lofts in Downtown Los Angeles, the 850 SF studio loft underwent a full interior architectural remodel, as well as, space planning, and custom-designed millwork.
In efforts to accommodate the client’s request for a separate, semi-private bedroom area, a new entry wall and dividing custom shelving unit was designed to designate this zone, allowing for porosity and visual connectivity to the rest of the loft.
In addition to a new custom-designed kitchen and larger bathroom, custom details were integrated throughout the space, utilizing existing elements. For instance, an existing circular concrete column was re-purposed as a backdrop for a custom bench and side table.
