This complete remodel of a 5000+ square foot 1960’s Buff and Hensman post and beam residence aimed to keep to the integrity of the original design, but with a contemporary twist. The client envisioned the house to depart from the true-to-period stucco exteriors. Instead, it was decided that the interior and exterior walls be paneled out in planks of reclaimed oak.
Interior walls were removed, windows and skylights were returned to their original locations, and the poolhouse was rebuilt.
