Murakami x RTFKT
Under the creative direction of Bureau Betak, MA-MA served as set designer and lead creative for the launch party event for Takashi Murakami’s CloneX x RTFKT Studios’ NFT collection. The party took place within a large warehouse space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, which was transformed into a dystopian wasteland. At the center of the party was an inhabitable scaffolding stage within which a traditional Japanese Taiko drumming group performed. The stage was flanked with other scenographic elements; a VIP seated lounge area, Nike display area, and a digital CloneX experience.
